Barbara is probably not very good at writing things about herself, which is not to say there's not a lot to know. She is half Dutch and Russian and grew up on Bainbridge Island near Seattle. She was unsure about living in Southern California, but now really likes it. Gardening is a big factor. Barbara is a licensed and award winning architect. She is also very interested in race unity and diversity and finds interesting ways to combine the two.
